Who should play Jimmy Stewart in the upcoming biopic?

Following the news this past winter of a Jimmy Stewart biopic in production from Burns & Co. Prods. with the support of his daughter, Kelly Stewart-Harcourt, a film about the beloved actor’s life is finally coming to the big screen. Looking to cover his time while working on It’s a Wonderful Life, the film aspires to uncover the real Jimmy and his collaboration with Frank Capra who guided him through his darkest hours. As a lifelong fan (and someone who has frequented his museum in Indiana, Pennsylvania), I would love to see a feature film on him, exploring the humble actor’s deeper complexities. But as for who should play him — I’ve got two people in mind: Grant Gustin of The Flash and Nicolas Braun of Succession. Do you agree?

What movie title best describes your life?

I've seen this question asked a dozen times over but every time I come across it, I always have a different answer. Some days it's 'Dazed and Confused', and other days it's 'Luckiest Girl Alive.' What movie title describes your life at this very moment?

What Is Your Favorite Eddie Murphy Movie?

My personal favorite Eddie Murphy movie(s) are the first two Shrek movies. While yes they are animated, and yes Donkey is a supporting character, Murphy's personality and charisma shine so bright. It's easily one of the best roles of his career. However, if I can't pick a voice-over role, then I'd have to go with the original Beverly Hills Cop. I remember watching this for the first time and being surprised at how much the movie blended the action and the comedy. Unlike some of the action comedies that come out now, the first Beverly Hills Cop isn't afraid to be dark and gritty, the humor all comes from Murphy's incredible delivery (and of course Bronson Pinchot's Serge).

Should Superman Still Have Trunks on the Outside of His Suit?

Now that we've gotten a proper look at David Corenswet's suit, we know that the Man of Steel will sport his iconic briefs in James Gunn's 'Superman' film next year. When Superman was first created in the 1930s, he was based on the strongmen of that time. They would regularly wear shorts outside their skin-tight suits for modesty. But nearly 100 years later, strongmen are a thing of the past, but Superman continues to wear his shorts. I think it's a fitting nod to his origins, but what do you think? Is it time to finally put them away?

What's the best kill from a shark movie outside of 'Jaws'?

The sharksploitation subgenre doesn't get nearly enough of the respect it deserves. While there are some absolute flops with CGI to make your eyes burn, there are some wildly entertaining entries that have given us superb kill sequences. When you think of 'Deep Blue Sea' you naturally think of the drugged-up mako shark jumping out of the water to tear Samuel L. Jackson to pieces. But the scene that will always get me is when Stellan Skarsgård gets his arm ripped off. Renny Harlin crafts the build-up to this moment perfectly. The team has just made a breakthrough in their research and it's the most joyous moment of the entire film. Harlin has us completely relaxed and therefore, vulnerable to the absolute carnage that ensues, just like with the later Samuel L. Jackon kill. Unlike the opening scene in 'Jaws,' there's no warning for what's about to happen. The slow-motion shot of the shark ripping his arm clean off isn't just violent, but utterly shocking. Even on my 50th rewatch, I'll st

From adding the prophecy of the Song of Ice and Fire to clearing up conflicting perspectives, House of the Dragon has done a lot of work to clear up and fill out George R. R. Martin's fictional history book based on the Targaryen family history. One of the most devastating eras of Targ history has to be the era of the Dance of the Dragons, but what are the worst and best changes that the show has made based on the accounts written in the books? There doesn't seem to be a right or wrong answer, but one of the biggest upsides seems to be how the show has fleshed out each of these characters, especially in Season 2 as we gain more sympathy for the Greens. What do you think?
