Graag stel ik u voor Marques de Riscal, een van de oudste wijnhuizen in de Spaanse Rioja. Als sinds 1858 produceren ze top Rioja's in verschillende klasse's. In anderhalve eeuw heeft Marques de Riscal zich vaak weten te onderscheiden bij de bekende wijn critici met lovende kritiek over de rode en witte wijnen. Daardoor kopen zowel de Spanjaarden als veel Europeanen de beroemde Rioja's. De wijngaarden van Marques de Riscal zijn vooral gevuld met Tempranillo, Verdejo en Sauvignon Blanc. In anderhalve eeuw heeft Marques de Riscal veel wijngaarden kunnen kopen en beschikken ze over de beste die Rioja te bieden heeft. In 1895 werd in Bordeaux de "Diplóme d'Honneur" gewonnen door Maques de RIscal, zo was het het eerste Spaanse Rioja die werd toegevoegd aan de lijst met grote wijnen uit Europa.
