How Many Hours You've Played in League of Legends: How to Check (2024)

So we’ve all played a lot of League of Legends, and I mean a lot. Some more than others, but if you are like us, you literally can’t stop loading into the Rift to still remain hardstuck Gold.

Have you ever wondered how many hours you’ve spent hard stuck in League of Legends, or even just playing the game in general? Well if so, you are like us, and we have found a way to check the amount of time you’ve wasted playing League of Legends!

How to check how many hours of League of Legends you’ve played

There is actually a website that allows you to check exactly how much time you have wasted playing League of Legends, and whilst some of you might argue that it isn’t a waste when you have played the game for the amount of hours that we have, we have to strongly disagree!

You want to go to the website Wasted on LoL, this will allow you to check the amount of time any account from any region has spent playing League of Legends, not just your own! So if you want to see if you’ve played more League of Legends than your friends or even the enemy Mid Laner in your Platinum promo match, then go ahead!

The next step is to enter your League of Legends name – or the new League of Legends Riot ID – and select your region.

Finally, are you sure you want to see this? We were sure, and now we’re questioning all of our life choices. If so, then click the button below where you entered your League of Legends username or Riot ID that says “How much time I wasted on LoL” and be prepared.

To break down what you will see when this load is the number of minutes, hours and days you have spent playing League of Legends since Season 11, as well as your rankings in your region and in the world for time played in this period.

It will also give you some fun facts, such as the number of books you could have read, movies you could have watched, and even kilometers you could have walked instead of playing League of Legends for this period.

Fair warning, this is a third-party website, so we recommend considering this as a rough estimate, rather than the exact amount of hours you’ve spent playing, and the same goes for the rankings on the right-hand side of the top 10 players with the most time spent playing.

Can you check how much time you’ve spent playing League of Legends from the client?

You can actually check the amount of time you have spent playing the Riot Games MOBA from the in-game client too, which tells you how many hours and days you’ve spent playing games this season.

You can also change this to previous seasons, but it does not have a collective sum of every hour you’ve played across all game modes.

To do this, just follow these steps:

1. Make sure to have the League of Legends client open
2. Select Profile at the top
3. Select the Stats button

There you have it! Look in the bottom left of the client, and you will be able to filter your search based on season, game mode, and most played. This also tells you your KDA ratio over that time period, as well as the amount of games you have played.

Whilst this does not break down the time as much as Wasted on LoL does, it does tell you your win rate for each role, champion and how many games of them you have played in that time period.
